Deepika Padukone will be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in Sajid Nadiawada's next project, according to Indian media reports.

There is speculation that Sajid Nadiawada might cast Padukone opposite Roshan in his next venture, directed by Kabir Khan.

"Sajid has been quite keen to work with Deepika. But that hasn't worked out due to several issues. However, there are chances that Deepika might sign up for his next production with Kabir," a source said, according to DNA India.

However, there is no official confirmation on that. "That film is in the scripting stage," Nadiawada said, according to Pinkvilla.

Padukone is currently busy with her Hollywood debut movie - Vin Diesel's " XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" - while Hrithik is filming Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" historical drama.

The "Bang Bang" actor has worked with Bollywood's top actress Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. However, it will be first time Roshan will be sharing the screen with Padukone.

It is not first time reports about Deepika-Hrithik's on-screen pairing surfaced. Recently, some media reports suggested that the duo might work together in a Yash Raj Films' Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed project, but no official announcement came on that, according to Deccan Chronicle.
