Actor and comedian Ben Stiller stopped by Bravo's late night TV show "Watch What Happens Live" Wednesday night with his "Zoolander 2" co-star Penelope Cruz to promote the film's recent release. During the interview, Stiller confirmed that he once dated former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Brandi Glanville after the reality star revealed the news in her 2014 book.

"Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen invited Stiller to play a game of "Plead the Fifth," where Cohen asked his guest three questions and the guest was allowed to "plead the fifth" for only one question. Cohen dove in with first question.

"Former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville recently revealed that the two of you dated in the '90s. How would you characterize your relationship?" asked Cohen.

"Oh, wow," laughed Stiller. "It was short-lived and it was fun. I wouldn't characterize it as a relationship - it was a couple of dates. And fun. And I'm not sure if my wife is aware of that."

"Well, it'll be fun for you two to watch Beverly Hills housewives from now on," joked Cohen.

Glanville dished about her hookup with an "up-and-coming comedian" in her 2014 book "Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance," reported Radar. She said her mystery man kept her laughing the whole time during their date, but they ended up parting ways shortly after because she couldn't take him seriously.

"Every time I looked at him, I'd think of something funny he said or remember one of his characters and would burst into hysterics. It didn't help the mood," she wrote, according to Radar.
