"X-Files" star Gillian Anderson just shut down all the plastic surgery rumors that have been going around ever since The Daily Mail claimed that she went under the knife.

The 47-year-old actress took to Facebook and Twitter on Friday to respond to the publication's claims that she has had cosmetic procedures on several parts of her face. "If it weren't so sad, this bollocks would have made my day," she captioned a photo of the article.

She then posted a natural photo shortly after, proudly writing, "This is how I really look! #agingwithoutshame."

Anderson recently reprised her role as FBI special agent Dana Scully in Fox's revival of the '90s TV series "The X-Files" and was called "ageless" by the Daily Mail for looking so incredible portraying a character she first played at just 25 years old. While "ageless" may seem like a compliment, the diagram they posted quoting "expert" plastic surgeons who believed she had work done to her eyes, neck, lips, chin, nose, cheeks and forehead was far from a compliment.
