Also known as sausage and potato soup, Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana is a classic. Its creamy and flavorful broth is a favorite among the restaurant's patrons, according to Redbook Magazine. Surprisingly, cooking it is easy and simple with this Olive Garden recipe hack below:

Ingredients:

1 pound Italian sausage, remove from casing
3 minced cloves garlic
1 chopped large onion
Salt and pepper
32 oz. low-sodium chicken broth
4 diced large russet potatoes
1 bunch of stripped and chopped curly kale
3/4 cup heavy cream
Grated Parmesan

Directions:

In a pot, cook the sausage on medium heat for five to seven minutes or until it is brown and crumbly. Then add the garlic and onion and let the flavors simmer for five minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Then slowly add the chicken broth and potatoes. Let it cook for an hour. Add water in between as the cooking process will diminish the liquid. Add the kale after an hour and let it cook for three minutes. Stir the heavy cream last and then serve with Parmesan cheese.

This recipe is from Delish. Another recipe calls for adding bacon in the dish, such as the hack from Food.
