The Lahore Qalandars will take on the Quetta Gladiators in the 18th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2016) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

The Quetta Gladiators became the first team to seal a playoff spot following a five-wicket win against the Karachi Kings on Saturday. The Elliot-led Gladiator bowlers restricted the Kings at a modest total of 126 for nine, which they chased down in 19 overs, according to The International News.

The Lahore Qalandars, on the other hand, kept their playoff hopes alive with a thrilling four-run victory against Peshawar Zalmi on Friday, according to Khaleej Times. Batting first, the Qalandars posted a commanding total of 164 with the help of Cameron Delport's 78 and Umer Akmal's 52 run knocks.  Zalmi, in reply, managed to score 160 in 20 overs, four short of the target.
