The New York Times has joined Google's latest Newsstand app to bring trending news articles, magazines, blogs and more, on Android phones and tablets. The latest move is a step ahead in the organization's NYT Everywhere strategy.

The New York Times is expanding its reach in third party platforms by making its content available on Google's latest Newsstand app. The Google Newsstand app brings the latest news, magazines, and blogs from various publications in one place for its users to access via Android smartphone or tablet. The introduction of its content in Google's news reader app is yet another step for The Times to extend its "NYT Everywhere" strategy.

The Times adapted the NYT Everywhere strategy to bring its content to subscribers across all platforms. The growing collection of internet-connected devices and users' dependence on such products makes it a viable option for any organization to reach a greater number of customers. The media organization already offers its content via Android app, Flipboard for Android and web.

"With the launch of Google Play Newsstand, we are able to expand our NYT Everywhere strategy even further and reach readers where they want to access our premium digital content," Denise Warren, executive vice president of digital products and services at The New York Times, said in a press release. "By raising the article limit through the holidays, Newsstand users who may not yet be Times subscribers will get a significant sense of the depth and authority of the news, opinion and multimedia offerings available on NYTimes.com."

NY Times subscribers can also access the in-depth articles, videos, photos and blogs from Newsstand following an authentication with the app. For those who do not have a subscription, The Times is offering a limited period offer for Newsstand users.

Users can access up to 15 NYT articles per day starting November 20, and the offer runs through January 5, 2014. But those who are using standalone NYT app or Flipboard, can only access up to three articles per day. As an introductory offer, The Times monthly subscription costs only $15 on Newsstand. It fees also includes a free 30-day trial.

Users can download the Newsstand app for free via Google Play Store.
