Beyoncé's politically inspired performance during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 7 caught the ire of some of her critics who are now putting together a rally against the singer.

The rally - created by an unknown organizer - will serve as a protest at Beyoncé's appearance in the performance, specifically the Black Panthers Party reference, according to a page on Eventbrite.

"Join us as we demonstrate on the block of the NFL Headquarters building," it read. "Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified? Come and let's stand together. Let's tell the NFL we don't want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!"

A day before her Super Bowl appearance, Beyoncé released her new track "Formation," in which it's politically charged music video and performance includes imagery of the Black Panthers, the Black Lives Matter movement, Malcolm X and Hurricane Katrina, according to NewsMax.

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, expressed his displeasure over the imagery, saying that he saw it as a glorification of the Black Panthers and Black Lives Matter movement, which many have considered to be against the police force.

"This is football, not Hollywood, and I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us and keep us alive," he said, according to the New York Daily News.
