Coming off her second X Games superpipe gold, snowboarder Chloe Kim stuck back-to-back 1080s at the U.S. Grand Prix in Park City, Utah. No woman had ever pulled off this combination in competition before.

The run earned the 15-year-old a perfect score of 100 along with victory in the competition. Kim already had the lead when she dropped in for her final run. With nothing to lose, she threw down 1080 spins on her second and third hits.

Kelly Clark, who holds the most contest wins of any other snowboarder - man or woman - met Kim at the bottom of her run to congratulate her.

Kim's reaction to her accomplishment has been meek. She posted a clip of her run on Instagram, adding simply: "Stoked to have put this down today."

No one has earned a perfect score in a major competition since Shaun White in the 2012 X Games. Both White and Kim scored on their victory laps, when they had already won the competition with a previous run.

"If you tuned in to the X Games you probably heard the commentators say (repeatedly) that Chloe Kim is the future of women's half pipe snowboarding," writes Nate Deschenes of the Inertia. "That's too generic, over used [sic] and ... doesn't truly respect the impact that Kim is having on the sport, even in the first few years of her career.

"F*** the future-Chloe Kim is the best rider in the half pipe right NOW."
