While there has been no official word yet from either Adam Brody or Leighton Meester's camp, the famous couple are rumored to have gotten engaged this fall away from the public eye after over a year of dating, MSN reports.

A source recently spilled to MSN Wonderwall that Brody and Meester celebrated their engagement in Los Angeles on Nov. 10 with close friends and family, Brody having popped the question earlier this season. While many celebrities would likely send the story straight to People magazine, the former "The O.C." and "Gossip Girl" stars have been keeping the details of their relationship so quiet that it wasn't until February of this year that news broke that they were even a couple.

Only several photographs have been released of the two out and about together in New York and L.A., though a source previously confirmed to Us Weekly that the two were "secretly dating," and they've been spotted doing everything from getting dinner and coffee together to walking their dogs, holding hands and walking arm-in-arm at the June premiere of Brody's film "Some Girl(s)."

Meester and Brody worked together on the 2011 film "Oranges" and were friends for years before becoming an item.

Following the end of her role as Blair Waldorf on "Gossip Girl," Meester has been persuing her music career and working on endorsements and beauty campaigns, and will play the girlfriend of Green Day singer Billie Armstrong in the upcoming film "Like Sunday, Like Rain," and will reunite onscreen with Brody for their forthcoming film "Life Partners."
