San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick may be one of the most talked about benched quarterbacks this offseason, and the speculations as to where he could land next season will likely continue until he finds a new team. Earlier this week, it was reported that Kaepernick wanted out of San Francisco and that the New York Jets were intrigued.

Despite the reports, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora said the Jets are not interested in the 49ers quarterback. Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan said the organization feels strongly about signing quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick because both he and head coach Todd Bowles want him back behind center next season.

Maccagnan and Bowles aren't the only two who want Fitzpatrick back next season - Jets star wide receiver Brandon Marshall said Wednesday that Fitzpatrick is his guy. Marshall said he doesn't want Kaepernick as his quarterback, but still thinks he is a good player.

The Jets just missed the post season after losing the regular season finale against AFC East rival Buffalo Bills, but proved to be much improved under first-year head coach Bowles. The Jets finished with a 10-6 record.
