Taylor Swift fans will soon be able to interact with the star in a way they never have before because she's officially teaming up with Glu Mobile to launch her very own app.

Glu Mobile, which is the same company that brought the successful and ever-so-popular "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood," announced Wednesday that the 26-year-old singer will be the latest celebrity to get a mobile game. Swift has signed a multi-year partnership with the company and will be working exclusively with them to develop a "new, one-of-a-kind digital gaming experience."

"Bringing with her over 227 million social followers, I am thrilled to welcome Taylor Swift, an award-winning singer, musician and songwriter, to Glu's family," Glu Chairman and CEO Niccolo de Masi said. "We realize that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new a highly differentiated mobile gaming experience. Glu is equally committed to designing never before seen gameplay elements that utilize Taylor's unique creativity. Accordingly, we will spend the required development time to ensure this innovation is achieved."

Besides Kardashian's hit game, Glu is also responsible for Katy Perry's mobile game, which launched in 2015. After Parry performed at the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime show, the company realized what a cultural icon she was and wanted to "translate key elements of her success into an innovative, highly entertaining mobile experience," De Masi said at the time.

Apparently, once Perry's app was released, it didn't do as well as they thought it would, which is why they brought on someone as big as Swift to try and up their profits, according to Digital Spy. The developer's Chief Financial Officer Eric Ludwig even went as far as describing Perry's app as one of the company's "biggest disappointments" of the last quarter.

Swift's game is slated for a global release in late 2016, and Glu will be providing more details on the game's development and her involvement at a later time.
