Lady Gaga will have the honor of singing the National Anthem at the biggest football game of the year! The talented artist will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" on Sunday as the Carolina Panthers take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., according to the Associated Press. The Grammy Award-winning singer will be joined by Academy Award-winning actress Marle Matlin, who will perform the National Anthem in American Sign Language alongside Gaga.

Gaga follows "Frozen" star Idina Menzel, who sung a beautiful version of the National Anthem at last year's Super Bowl in Glendale, Ariz., according to Entertainment Weekly.

Tuesday's news of Gaga's upcoming performance at the Super Bowl is the cherry on top of the good day the singer was already experiencing. Earlier today, it was announced that the "Applause" singer would have the sole honor of performing a tribute to the late David Bowie at this year's Grammy Awards, the show's producer Ken Ehrlich told the New York Times. Ehrlich said that Gaga was already booked as a performer before Bowie passed away, but it made sense for the singer to perform solo due to how much he influenced her.

The other big musical moment for Super Bowl 50 will include a halftime show by the band Coldplay, who is rumored to bring out special guests Beyoncé and Bruno Mars during their performance.

Super Bowl 50 kicks off Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
