Georgia senior linebacker Jordan Jenkins is the son of a retired Army veteran and has had his share of moving across the country during his childhood. The 6-foot-3, 253-pound linebacker is one of the best at his position in the upcoming draft class, and he is viewed as second-round prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Jenkins was born in Houston, Texas, and he can see himself in a Texans uniform, according to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle. Jenkins has already spoken with Texans scouts and wants to prove that he will be an impact player at the next level.

"I want people to know I'm a respectful person. I was brought up as a military brat, and there's a certain decency in how you do things. You do things you're not supposed to get rewarded for," said Jenkins, via The Houston Chronicle. "It's what you're supposed to do. I'm a guy who's going to compete, compete, compete and find a way to be as impactful as possible."

Both Jenkins and his father would love for him to be drafted by the Texans, and the talented Georgia linebacker likely improved his draft stock with his performance at the Senior Bowl this past week. "It would be great," enkins' father, Ronald, said on the prospect of being drafted by the Texans. "We have a lot of family out there and are moving back there. The Texans would be a great fit."

Jenkins recorded 58 total tackles his senior season with 9.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks. The Georgia linebacker proved that he could play at the top level in College Football in the SEC and is looking to prove himself at the next level.

"The guy I like is that Jenkins cat from Georgia," NFL draft analyst Mike Mayock said, via NFL Network. "Everybody talks about Leonard Floyd, who's a heck of a player, but man that Jenkins kid is overlooked because of the position that he had to play for Georgia. I think he's going to be a better NFL player than a college player. Get him out there in space a little bit and let him show off. I like him."

It's unknown where Jenkins will land in the 2016 NFL Draft, but the Georgia linebacker is very unlikely to still be on the board after the first two rounds. It will be interesting if the Texans continue to show interest in Jenkins, as he clearly would like to join that dominant Houston defense in 2016.
