Super Bowl 50 features two of the best teams in the game, as the AFC's top-seeded Denver Broncos face the NFC's top-seed Carolina Panthers at Levi's Stadium on Feb. 7. There have already been plenty of sweepstakes and chances to win tickets to the big game, but most people will have to settle for buying an incredibly expensive ticket if they want to go see Super Bowl 50.

The ticket prices are at record high levels this year, as tickets to the new Santa Clara stadium are currently averaging $5,217, according to USA Today Sports and SeatGeek. The face value of the tickets began at $500 for upper level-seats and go up to $1,500 each for club seats, but those tickets have all been taken by season-ticket holders, corporate partners, ticket wholesalers and NFL employees, according to Creg Stephenson of Al.com.

The ticket re-sale values are jumping on sites like SeatGeek as 400-level (upper deck) tickets are starting at $3,255, while suite tickets can get up to $15,000. Stubhub's cheapest tickets are currently $2,777.78 for the upper corner 406 section, but it's unknown how long those tickets will be available. Sitting at the 50-yard line in the first section behind the Denver Broncos sideline costs up to $17,500 per ticket and is in row 29, on Stubhub. The Panthers sideline is even more expensive, as seats at the 50-yard line in the front section can cost up to $22,500 for row 18.

To better understand what your money will get you for you ticket, ESPN's Darren Rovell posted a photo using his Twitter account displaying three different areas in Levi's Stadium and their respective cost.

Whether you're a Broncos fan wanting to see your team win a Super Bowl for the first time since 1999, or you're a Panthers fan hoping to watch your team win their first Super Bowl in their history, one thing is for sure- going to Super Bowl 50 won't be cheap.
