Several days ago, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company released the Pokemon advertisement slated to be shown during the Superbowl game. This has sparked immense interest, including a furious discussion on Reddit with various speculations about its content, which some believe indicates clues about the upcoming "Pokemon GO" game.

The full-length video (shown below) is more like an advertisement for the entire Pokemon franchise as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this February. There is no explicit reference to a specific Pokemon game or the "Pokemon GO" itself. It merely featured a group of children in different fields such as football and chess, among others until the narrative culminated into the the introduction of the "Pokemon" master. The spot is an awareness campaign, designed to draw attention to the many things in store for "Pokemon" fans this year, according to Forbes.

There are those, however, who were able to identify clues purportedly hidden in the advertisement. The "Pokemon" match at the latter part of the video is the most talked about. This reminded many fans of the upcoming "Pokemon GO" game, which will feature a location-based gameplay, where players catch virtual monsters in real-word environs. There is also the "Pokemon" trainer scene, which seem to show the Mewtwo fight previously teased in the "Pokemon GO" trailer, The Bit Bag reported.

Hardcore fans can also recognize several Pokemon references, such as the carpet color scheme that allegedly indicates the "Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow" titles. There is also the truck at 0:12, which contains the numbers "4 15 96," the day Mew was launched in Japan. Several others symbols and clues are present and fans will have a field day spotting each.
