Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller wants to be the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL, according to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole.

Miller has been a key factor in the Broncos' top ranked defense, and is coming off a dominant performance in the AFC Championship game. The Broncos linebacker recorded five combined tackles, 2.5 sacks, and an interception on Championship Sunday, and is due for a huge contract in the near future. The Broncos are reportedly expected to franchise tag Miller this offseason, as they will look to get a deal done with quarterback Brock Osweiler, according to Cole.

Miller is reportedly looking to get a deal bigger than Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who signed a record deal of $114 million, with $60 million guaranteed. Miller was the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and it seems highly unlikely the Broncos will let the coveted linebacker walk following this season.

Other teams are reportedly interested in the Broncos linebacker, but Denver is expected to keep him under the tag in 2016 as they work a deal out with Osweiler. Miller recorded 13.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and interception this season, and has developed into one of the best defensive players in the league.

Denver will have plenty of offseason player personnel decisions to work out after Super Bowl 50, and although Miller is reportedly expected stay in Denver in 2016 the Broncos linebacker is likely coming into a record breaking deal in the future.
