Since Disney and Lucasfilm unveiled their plans for a heist-style movie with "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" - the first non-saga film in the franchise --- director Gareth Edwards and everyone involved have maintained that this would be a different type of "Star Wars" movie. No Skywalkers, no Jedi and no Force was said to be found here. This film was going to be grounded and realistic sci-fi.

But star Donnie Yen recently made an interest comment during a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) that potentially suggested otherwise.

"I think it's really flattering to be the first Chinese actor in the Star Wars universe and I have full confidence Rogue One will do extremely well, because the force is with me."

"Rogue One" is said to follow a group of bounty hunters who steal the plans for the Death Star. It is said to take place in between "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and "Episode IV: The Empire Strikes Back" on the "Star Wars" timeline.

Given all we know about "Rogue One," it's likely that Yen's force line was more of a colloquialism than a literal reference to his character using the force in the movie. Sure, he could be an ex-Jedi turned bounty hunter rebel. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility in that galaxy. But we're betting he's just another normal guy caught up in an abnormal situation in the movie.

In addition to Yen, "Rogue One's" impressive cast includes Felicity Jones, Forest Whittaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Diego Luna and more.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will arrive this Dec.
