It's been about four days since Kristin Cavallari was hospitalized following a car accident, and although the "Hills" alum luckily didn't suffer any serious injuries, she has returned to social media to update her fans on some heartbreaking details.

"Dislocated my elbow last Thursday and not being able to hold my baby is absolutely killing me," she tweeted on Sunday.

The 29-year-old former reality star was rushed to the hospital last Thursday after her vehicle was hit by another driver, as HNGN previously reported. Her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler met her at the hospital shortly after she arrived. Her children, 3-year-old son Camden, 1-year-old son Jaxon and 2-month-old daughter Saylor, were not in the car at the time of the accident.

At the time, her rep had confirmed that she was okay. "She was hit by another driver in Chicago," her rep told Us Weekly. "She is doing fine and will be discharged from the hospital shortly."

It has been a rough month couple of months for Cavallari as she recently lost her brother Michael after he crashed his car in the Utah desert. Authorities speculated that his death was due to "exposure of elements," and possible hypothermia. His body was found on Dec. 10, just five days after they had announced that he was reported missing.

"My little angel, Saylor," she captioned a photo of her newborn daughter's feet shortly after the death of her brother. "She has been my light throughout this whole thing and has given me so much strength. Thank you baby girl for coming when u did."
