A few strangers proved there's still some good in this world when they returned actor Mark Ruffalo's personal belongings this past weekend all thanks to social media.

When winter storm Jonas hit New York City on Saturday, the Oscar-nominated "Spotlight" star found himself caught in some trouble when his phone and wallet went missing, so he took to his 2.1 million Twitter followers to seek help.

"APB out for a cell phone in a wallet case out on the streets of NYC in a blizzard," he tweeted at about 3 p.m. on Saturday. "My drivers license is in there. Reward and signed pic."

Several NYC fans quickly tweeted some smart solutions to help the 48-year-old actor find his phone to which he replied, "Wow, thanks for all the tips and help for my lost phone. Really appreciated."

Luckily, just 18 minutes later, his belongings were tracked down. "OMG it was just found!" he tweeted in complete shock. "That was freaking fast. Thanks for helping me find it!!"

He then shared a happy photo with the two young girls who helped him find his valuables, thanking them for their good deed. "Thank Amenaide and Catherine Brown for finding my phone and wallet!" he wrote alongside the photo. "Thanks Brown family for your decency."

As it turns out, Amenaide and Catherine were walking home with their mom from Shake Shack when they saw something half-buried in the snow - the missing loot - even though they did not recognize his name on the driver's license, according to TMZ. His phone was also locked, but since someone had sent a text to the phone and the number was on the screen, the were able to call a few different people and eventually got in touch with Ruffalo's publicist.

The young girls' father, Peter Brown, explained that Ruffalo stopped by personally to pick up his things and gave the girls $100 for their good deed, which they said they would spend at the candy shop. He also promised them a signed Hulk photo.
