The Oakland Raiders are still figuring out where they are going to play in 2016 after being left as the odd team out following the NFL owners meetings in Houston. Reports have already surfaced that Raiders owner Mark Davis has secured land in San Antonio and that Texas could be a potential landing spot for the silver and black.

While it's uncertain where the Raiders will end up in 2016, there seems to be a few options that Davis will need to weigh before making a decision. The Chargers are reportedly expected to join the Rams in Los Angeles, and with that move, another potential landing spot has opened up, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Raiders could potentially look at San Diego as their future home, and a recent report stated a Raiders move to San Diego is a "very viable" option. The Raiders are currently working on a lease to stay in Oakland for at least another season, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

"The Raiders and ourselves have agreed to sit down and have discussions about a lease extension," said Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority executive director Scott McKibben, via Pro Football Talk. "We will talk to the press once we have something to talk about."

Both Oakland and San Diego's home city's plans to keep their franchises were viewed as "inadequate," prior to the NFL owners meetings in Houston. While it seems unlikely the Raiders would want to trade one stadium problem for another in San Diego, it's worth noting, as Davis could look to use it as leverage against Oakland in building a new stadium. The Raiders are reportedly now looking at three locations in Oakland, San Diego and San Antonio, but many feel that Texas is a longshot, as Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Texans owner Bob McNair would likely not stand for a third franchise in their state.
