Many dog-loving bakers dream of sharing their wares with their canine buddies. However, ingredients like chocolate and sugar don't agree with dogs, so it's definitely not a good idea to do so. That's where this recipe by Serena Faber Nelson of Lucky Puppy Magazine comes in. These carrot muffins are delicious and healthy for humans and dogs alike. If your dog has been extra-wonderful today, make a batch of these to reward him.

These treats shouldn't replace dog food, so make sure to only give them as treats every once in awhile, says Nelson. You can make them in mini-muffin form as well, an especially good idea if your pup is looking a little chubby lately.
