Film maker Kevin Smith may have been one of the first people to see Ben Affleck in his Caped Crusader costume for “Batman Vs. Superman.”

Smith revealed during his Podcast "Hollywood Babble-On with Ralph Garman and Kevin Smith" that director Zack Snyder showed him a picture of Affleck’s costume on his iPhone, according to ComicBookMovie.com.

"I saw the costume, more than that I saw him [Ben Affleck] in the costume...I don't want to give anything away cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this...I instantly bear hugged him. You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this matrixy black armor thing,” Smith said during his Podcast.

“There wasn't a single nipple on this [frick]ing suit man. I think everyone is gonna be like 'Holy Shit!' We haven't been down this path before. Even the Hardest core ‘[frick] this movie’ person will be like 'alright, I'm ready!'” Smith added.

However, once Smith began describing the costume the details were censored.

"It seemed like it was very [Redacted] Influenced,” Smith said.

“Batman Vs. Superman”, the sequel to “Man of Steel”, is set to be released on July 17, 2015. Filming is set to begin early 2014.

The latest casting news for the film is all about Batman’s former side kick, Nightwing. According to The Wrap, “Girls” star Dick Grayson is up for the role in Snyder’s upcoming flick.

"A source tells TheWrap that at least two other actors may be in the mix to play Grayson, the Caped Crusader's former sidekick, who's been estranged from Bruce Wayne for years in the movie, according to Latino Review," The Wrap reported.
