"Batman Vs. Superman" is set to begin filming early 2014, and rumor has it we'll be seeing a few more superheroes other than the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel.

According to the Latino-Review, sources close to production revealed director Zack Snyder is looking for a young "John Hawkes" type to play Nightwing, better known as Batman's sidekick, Robin. However, the site reports the casting call is a rumor since the "secrecy" surrounding the film projected has prevented getting official confirmation. (Check out video below for more details)

The Nightwing rumors come on the heels of Internet speculation about a possible Wonder Woman cameo in the film. "Thor: The Dark World" actress Jaime Alexander recently spoke to Forbes about the rumors she was being considered for the role.

Alexander said she is a big fan of the "Wonder Woman" series and would like to see her in "Batman Vs. Superman." The "Thor" actress did not confirm she was up for the role of Wonder Woman.

"Being in the comic book world, we know a lot of the same people at DC and Marvel, so we hear a lot of things, but it's all speculation right now," Alexander said. "But I would absolutely love that [Wonder Woman appearing in one of the upcoming films]. Thankfully and gratefully, I'm appreciative to the people who ask my opinion of the character, and that's been pretty amazing."

Another actress may be up for the rumored role of Wonder Woman in the Zack Snyder film. Her name is Olga Kurylenko and she's acted alongside Tom Cruise in "Oblivion."

"Jaimie Alexander last week set the Internet on fire when she said she met with Warners over the female role in the movie and just today, my pals from Schmoes Know just said that Olga Kurylenko screen tested. Remember folks, there are four ladies and so far we know of two," the Latino Review reports.
