Knowing that his girlfriend was a huge fan of the TV show "Friends," a man from London set up an elaborate wedding proposal inspired by the show.

Mitesh Jadva, 25, asked his girlfriend, Anisha Patel, 23, to marry him amidst a decoration of string lights, candles and a yellow couch set up in an outdoor garden. Jadva tried to recreate the show's opening scene with the whole production, according to Elite Daily. The setting was also similar to Chandler's proposal to Monica, played by Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox on the show. The proposal comes in light of the "Friends" reunion happening on NBC in February.

Before Jadva asked his girlfriend the question, an acoustic band sang the show's theme song, "I'll Be There For You," and then he got down on his knees and then slipped the ring on Patel's finger. Patel was expectedly all-smiles.

Jadva perfectly timed the proposal with the help of The Proposers, an events company, for the couple's fifth wedding anniversary, according to Daily Mail.

"We knew the timing for sunsets that week and had planned the proposal for a time which would give us good lighting for the video, but also would be dark enough for the candles and fairy lights to shine," said the groom-to-be. "When we took a seat and the singers came out Anisha shed a few happy tears, and that's when I knew I'd done my job right."

The couple agree to have an Indian-themed wedding, but some elements from "Friends" will be most likely added to it.
