Brad Dassey, the half-brother of "Making a Murderer" subject Brendan Dassey, has dropped a rap track defending Brendan and Steven Avery. The track, titled "They Didn't Do It," was released on Brad's YouTube and SoundCloud pages.

"Here's a track I wrote, spent 10 hours straight on about Brendan Dassey and Steven Avery," the Christian Rap Artist wrote on SoundCloud. "Brendan is my half-brother in prison and is mentioned in the new Netflix Series, Making A Murderer. Please download and SHARE my new track to bring justice to my brother!"

Brendan and Avery were both convicted of the murder of 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach in 2007. Avery is currently serving life in prison without the possibility of parole, while Brendan is serving a life in prison with the possibility of parole sentence. The Netflix documentary series "Making a Murderer" examines the case of the two and presents a theory that Dassey and Avery were framed by law enforcement officers in Manitowoc County, Wisc.

"Kid's just innocent / was only 16, tryna set him free / He's not guilty, there's no way in hell / Corruption made him fall, lose it all ," Brad raps in the song.

"The family's just gone through so much hell," Brad, 32, told the New York Daily News of why he decided to make the song. "It's incredible."

Brad added that he released the song primarily for Brendan, who he felt did not receive the same amount of support as Avery.

"There needs to be a strong voice really representing him and staying strong for him," he said. "I just wanted to speak out on his behalf and just root for him."
