Microsoft announced Thursday that Internet Explorer 11 is available for Windows 7 users around the world in 95 different languages and will automatically replace the IE10 with the latest iteration via software update in the coming weeks.

Microsoft has mainly focused on its newest operating system, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. But the software giant is also concerned about its more popular Windows 7 platform. Most PCs around the world are still running the older version of the Windows. Microsoft is updating one of the most integral parts of Windows OS, the Internet Explorer, for its Windows 7 users.

IE11 debuted alongside Windows 8.1 update, but has been added to Windows 7 users earlier than expected. The final version of IE10 for Windows 7 did not arrive until February this year, although its  first preview was released in April 2011. But the company has learnt the hard way and is all about quick releases of late. Microsoft released the Internet Explorer 11 Developer's Preview for Windows 7 in July and its second and final preview appeared in September.

While the Windows 8.1 was launched with the IE 11 browser October 17, Windows 8 users may still have to wait to get their update on browsers. This time, however, Windows 7 users got lucky with the final version of IE11.

The latest version of IE guarantees faster Web browsing with low CPU usage. The IE11 also includes WebGL, a new web technology that allows web developers to create 2D and 3D experiences. Microsoft adds that the newer browser has an improved JavaScript performance, up by 9 percent compared to its predecessor and 30 percent more than its competing browsers.

Microsoft also showed the speed of IE11 with a Lite Brite screen test, earlier in July. The IE11 had the best score of 4.04 seconds to load the graphical IE logo. In a live test on a Windows 7 PC, IE10 scored 12.47 seconds compared to Chrome 28's 36.37 seconds.

Microsoft has secured one of the important features for its Windows 8.1 users, the tab syncing.  The new browser also adds 25 new and improved modern Web standards, according to the company's IEBlog.

Users can download the latest browser for Windows 7 operating system here by choosing from 95 different languages.
