The second and final Twenty20 International (T20I) of the two-match series between host Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will be played Sunday at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Afghanistan registered a thrilling five-run win over Zimbabwe in the first T20I played at the same venue on Friday. The victory gives the hosts a 1-0 lead in the series. Batting first, the Afghan squad made 187 for 7 in their 20 overs. In response, Zimbabwe managed to score 182 for 7, according to ICC Cricket.

Gulbadin Naib (37 off 20 balls) starred with bat for Afghanistan. From Zimbabwe's side Malcolm Waller ( unbeaten 49) tried to chase down the target, but, failed to do so as his side regularly lost wickets, according to eurosports.

Afghanistan, which is hosting Zimbabwe for the ODI and T20I series in the United Arab Emirates, has already won the presiding ODI series. It is now aiming for Twenty20 series win.
