The Thunder remain undefeated in the tournament with three back-to-back victories. The Mike Hussey-led side secured a hat trick of victories first time in the BBL after registering a comfortable win over the Adelaide strikers on Monday, according to ABC News.

Hussey credited coach Paddy Upton for his team's extraordinary performance. "Sometimes in cricket we're a bit antiquated and we're a little bit stuck in 'This is how we've always done it' and the history and tradition of the game. But in T20 cricket, you've got a chance to think outside the box, do things a little bit differently, express yourself in slightly different ways. That's something that's really been encouraged by Paddy," he said, according to SBS.

The Heat, on the other hand, remain winless in the tournament. The Chris Lynn-led squad is now placed at the bottom of the points table.

The Hobart Hurricanes beat the Heat by a 15-run Tuesday night. All rounder Dan Christian smashed 56 off 24 deliveries to guide the Hurricanes to an impressive victory at Gabba, according to the Australian Associated Press.
