French Montana was recently given an extremely generous bonus from Diddy, but he was feeling quite generous himself because he donated the entire check to charity, according to TMZ. The 31-year-old rapper, who is signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records, was given a humongous check worth $1 million for his hard work this year, but he revealed he's donating the entire amount to a charity in the south Bronx to help schools and young kids.

Prior to making the donation, Montana took to Instagram to thank his boss for the generous gift. "Shout out to @iamdiddy for that million dollar gift bonus #happyholidays," he captioned a photo of his crew holding the giant check.

Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, was born in Morocco, but moved to the South Bronx with his family when he was a teenager, according to the New York Daily News. He started off the holiday season by making a donation to another nonprofit charity, Entertainers 4 Education Alliance, by donating 100 pairs of sneakers.

"Huge thanks to @FrenchMontana for donating 100 pairs of Reebok's to our Bronx students @IWILLGRADUATE program," tweeted Tonya Lewis Taylor, the organization's co-founder and executive director, alongside a photo. "Christmas came early for the student in my program thanks to French Montana," she said. "THANK YOU French for being a man of your word!"

The Bronx-based organization "utilizes the power of celebrities, musicians, sports figures, high profile individuals and entertainment to promote positive messages to young people about the importance of education, personal advancement and social commitment," according to Pop Crush. The I WILL GRADUATE campaign is "a dropout prevention campaign and call to action for students, parents and the entire community to increase educational achievement in our youth."
