It seems strange that the Nintendo 2DS, which was released in the U.S. two years ago, will only debut in Japan in Feb. 27 next year. But to make up for the lost time, the game console is launching four handhelds that will come in gorgeous red, blue, green and yellow colors.

The four hingeless 2DS consoles, which recall the transparent Game Boy colors, will ship with a version of the "Pokémon" original games such as Red, Blue, Green or Pikachu Yellow, depending on the device color, according to The Verge. It also features a special menu theme based on the game's town map as well as stickers and posters.

The consoles became available for preorder last weekend and it costs 9,980 yen, or around $83. Buyers will also receive a download code after purchase for a rare "Pokémon" monster called Mew, which is playable in the 2DS consoles as well as the "Pokémon X," "Y, " "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire," Polygon reported.

The Feb. 27 release coincides with "Pokémon's" 20th anniversary. The devices will be launching along with the remakes of Pokémon classics Red, Blue, Green and Yellow for the 3DS, HNGN previously reported.
