As was earlier announced, Nintendo held the Supersmash Bros. 4 live stream Wednesday where it revealed new characters and several downloadable content. Cloud Strife, the lead Final Fantasy VII character was introduced, as HNGN previously reported. He is already officially available for download along with a Final Fantasy VII-themed stage, noted Euro Gamer.

However, there are two more characters joining the Smash universe: Bayonetta and Corrin. Both of these characters come from the new game called Fire Emblem Fates, a role-playing gamed developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo SPD.

Wii U and Nintendo 3DS owners can download Bayonetta and Corrin in Feb. 2016. They will be included in a downloadable pack, which costs $5.99 for each platform.

Bayonetta (in the video above) is the trigger-happy Umbra Witch, who got selected to be included in the Smash Bros. 4 roster due to fan votes, Masahiro Sakurai said during the presentation. She beat several other characters, snagging the distinction of being the single most wanted "negotiable and realizable character" worldwide, Digital Trends reported. This character has amazing attacks with her four pistols and witch skills, such as the ability to slow down enemies.

Corrin (in the video below), on the other hand, excels in melee attacks as he is equipped with a special sword that can also unleash a torrential waterspout for his Final Smash. Corrin will not come with an additional stage, but Wii U players will get two new music tracks, and 3DS players will receive the Ryoma and Xander trophies with their purchase, according to IGN.
