Teresa Giudice was released from prison early Wednesday morning and had an emotional reunion with her husband Joe Giudice and her four daughters.

The star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" entered a prison in Connecticut in January to start what was supposed to be a 15-month sentence after she and her husband were indicted for fraud charges. Giudice was released four months early and the day before Christmas Eve for good behavior, as HNGN previously reported.

When Giudice was released, her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. drove her straight home where she was reunited with Joe and their children, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6.

"It was very emotional," Leonard told reporters regarding her reunion with her daughters, according to E! News. "It was a private moment but it was very emotional, very powerful and it was something to see."

"Gia was up early this morning and then the younger ones started to get up," he said. "I think they got a little bit of sleep. I got no sleep. Teresa says that she didn't sleep at all. Joe slept a little bit. I think everyone is going to sleep well tonight, myself included."

He also said that Giudice wanted to share a message with everyone: "'Merry Christmas. Happy New Year....all of you should go be with your families and your loved ones.'"

Giudice's husband Joe is set to start a 41-month prison sentence for the same charges in March.
