Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman is reportedly being punished for his actions too following Sunday's blowup between the star corner and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The Panthers corner has reportedly been fined $26,044 for two offenses that occurred during their win over the Giants, according to Jarrett Bell of USA Today Sports.

Norman has reportedly been fined $17,363 for striking the Giants receiver in the head and neck area, and $8,681 for a facemask, according to Bell. While Norman is facing fines, Giants star receiver Beckham is facing a one-game suspension in a crucial game for New York against the Minnesota Vikings. Beckham is appealing the suspension, and a decision is expected to come some time Wednesday afternoon, according to James Kratch of NJ.com.

The Giants wide receiver apologized to the entire team on Monday for his actions in this past weekend's game. Beckham's shot on Norman's head is one of the plays that stuck out to everyone on Sunday, and when the league has been changing their rules for players safety, it makes sense why the league came down with a harsh penalty. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin doesn't feel that justice was served, and many have the opinion that both should face similar punishments.

While Beckham is expected to appeal his suspension on Wednesday, Norman has stated that he plans to appeal any fines.

"The crazy part about all the unsportsmanlike conducts, I was just trying to be myself at the end of the day. I know one of those plays, I was in Cover 2, I was just jamming the man inside of the play and I got a personal foul called against me. And that was in the confines of the play, within the whistle," said Norman, via ESPN's Mike & Mike. "That wasn't after the whistle that was within the whistle. They're probably going to send me something about that ... but I'm going to appeal it, and I'm going to get my justified case about the whole situation."
