When you're as well-known in the social media world and modeling industry as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, sometimes all it takes is the click of a button to earn six figures.

With social media platforms like Instagram being as big as they are today, they're the perfect way for young models to represent brands and when you have as many followers as BFFs Jenner, 19, and Hadid, 20, do, brands will pay big bucks for these young models to show off their looks. Jenner currently has 43.9 million followers, while Hadid has 10.2 million.

"For sure, casting directors will ask for models with over 'X' amount of followers, and then will ask for the specs of the talent after that," Jennifer Powelll, who works on Next Model's women's board and manages their social media talent, told CR Fashion Book. "Especially for campaigns and bigger projects."

Frank Spadafora, a former casting director and CEO/founder of the social analytics firm D'Marie, told CR Fashion Book that Jenner, Hadid and Cara Delevigne are the three most highly ranked models on social media. "[They] are currently valued between $125,000 and $300,000 for a single post across their portfolio," Spadafora explained. "If you want to reach a mode's audience, you're going to have to pay a hefty additional fee for that." Models Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo and Miranda Kerr are ranked shortly behind them and can bring in between $25,000 to $50,000 per post.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan pretty much rules social media, and even though Jenner's older sister Kim Kardashian may have the most Instagram followers in the family, a photo Jenner posted this past June was not only named the most liked photo of the year, but the most liked photo on Instagram, according to TIMEIt racked up 2.5 million likes in just five weeks, beating out her sister Kim's previous record of 2.4 million likes for her wedding picture, and as of right now, the photo of Jenner lying on the ground in a gorgeous white lace dress with her hair laid out in hearts has 3.3 million likes.

Earlier this year, Jenner was also listed for the first time on Forbes' list of the highest-paid models of the year, as the youngest model on the list. She was listed just behind Kate Moss with her $4 million earnings.
