There is a new Santa Claus in town, and he is way cooler. Will Ferrell stopped by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Wednesday night in character as a Kris Kringle that kids these days could relate to.

"Look brah, the Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame," Ferrell said. "Dude looks like someone's weird grandpa. Kids today are demanding a newer, hipper, more badass Santa Claus, so you're welcome."

Ferrell changed up the classic Santa look and cut off the sleeves to his red costume, wore red Hawaiian shorts, shaved the white beard into a soul patch, and had blond hair. The former "Saturday Night Live" star even brought out a t-shirt cannon that shot out shirts with his face on the front and the phrase "daddy's home" on the back.

"So this is what you give to people for Christmas," Fallon questioned Ferrell about the shirts.

"Check it, technically I don't give it to them," Ferrell responded. "Old Santa used to do his reindeer thing, sliding down chimneys, stuffing stockings, that's just not my style."

The cooler Santa then revealed that he used drone's to deliver presents around the world.

"Bro, this is 2013. Get with the prog," he joked to Fallon. "It's the year of the drone." As long as we're in the 'drone zone,' that is!"
