The police in the United Kingdom are asking the public for any pertinent information that might be used in the case against alleged serial killer Stephen Port, a 40-year-old London man accused of murdering four young gay men using a lethal overdose of GHB, according to The Independent.

Port was previously arrested earlier this October in connection with the deaths of four young gay men, 21-year-old Anthony Walgate, 22-year-old Gabriel Kovari, 21-year-old Daniel Whitworth and 25-year-old Jack Taylor.

After allegedly killing the men with the drug, their bodies were dumped in an area around St. Margaret's Churchyard, in Barking, East London. The murders were suspected to have been committed between June 2014 and September 2015, reports Pink News.

Port, who lives on Cooke Street in Barking, allegedly met his victims through gay websites. He is due to stand trial in April 2016 on four counts of murder and four counts of administering a poison to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm.

Detective Chief Inspector Tim Duffield from the Homicide and Major Crime Command has appealed to the public for information about the case, according to Tower Load News.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who may have information in connection with these incidents, no matter how insignificant you may think it is. If you have any reservations about speaking to the police, please rest assured that your call will be dealt with in the strictest confidence," he said.
