"House of Cards" announced its season premiere date in a campaign commercial for Kevin Spacey's presidential character. Netflix will debut the fourth season on March 4.

NBC Cancels "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris"

NBC and Neil Patrick Harris mutually agreed to end "Best Time Ever" after only one season, according to Variety. The live variety series was part of a push by the network for more live programming this fall (NBC comedy series "Undateable" also performed its episodes live on Fridays).

Harris and his production company will continue working with NBC to develop new projects. "Best Time Ever" was based on the long-running U.K. series, "Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway."

Showtime Greenlights Documentary Series About 2016 Presidential Race

Showtime has greenlighted a political documentary series called "The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth." The show will premiere in January before the Iowa caucuses and cover the 2016 presidential race in real-time, Showtime President David Nevins.

"The real-time documentary series will pull back the curtain on the 2016 presidential race, revealing the intense, irreverent, inspiring and infuriating stories behind the headlines of what promises to be one of the most fascinating and consequential elections in modern history."

Amazon Developing A Grateful Dead Bio Series

Amazon Studios is developing a limited bio series about The Grateful Dead. Founding band member, Bob Weir, will executive produce the project with Steve Parish, whose book, "Home Before Daylight: My Life on the Road with the Grateful Dead," the series will be based on.

Hulu Renews "East Los High" for a Season Four

Hulu has renewed "East Los High," for a 12-episode fourth season, set to premiere in 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Since the show's premiere in 2013, the streaming service has added original shows "The Awesomes," "Difficult People," "Casual" and saving "The Mindy Project."

Kelsey Grammer to Star in Amazon Pilot "The Last Tycoon"

Kelsey Grammer will star in the upcoming Amazon pilot "The Last Tycoon" opposite Matt Bomer. Rosemarie DeWitt also joins the cast of the show based on the final unfinished novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, inspired by the life of film mogul Irving Thalberg.
