Mountain Faith, the North Carolina-based bluegrass band whose profile spiked thanks to its run on season 10 of "America's Got Talent," has signed with APA for booking representation.

APA represents a stable of high-profile artists including Dolly Parton, Brian Wilson, Macy Gray, Judy Collins and Burt Bacharach.

"Over the past 15 years, Mountain Faith has become one of the most respected acts in the bluegrass genre," APA's Cass Scripps said in a press release. "We are anxiously looking forward to sharing their unique story and talents with fans across the country, and putting them in front of as many people as possible."

Formed in 2000, Mountain Faith features vocalists Summer McMahan and Luke Dotson, banjo player and harmony singer Brayden McMahan, bass player Sam McMahan - who is Summer and Brayden's father - and mandolin player Cory Piatt.

"Our family, from generations back, has been very musical," Summer McMahan told Headlines & Global News in an exclusive interview in October. "Everybody played something, all the family gatherings were always a big jam, everybody would bring their instruments and play."

Mountain Faith recently returned from performing for U.S. troops at several stops in the Persian Gulf and will wrap up 2015 with a few performances, including at the Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers NFL game on Dec. 27. The band will play a New Year's Eve concert at Berry Freewill Baptist Church in Berry, Ala., and 2016 dates will be announced soon, according to the press release.

This year proved to be a big one for Mountain Faith, who in addition to releasing its latest album, "That Which Matters," earned 15 nominations from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) Bluegrass Music Awards.
