The Brain Setzer Orchestra: Christmas Rocks! Tour
Brian Setzer was a punk with the Stray Cats, but with his eponymously named orchestra, he delivers fun and contemporary versions of the top Christmas tunes for the whole family. (“The trick is to make them sound hip,” he said.) For Setzer’s 12th annual holiday jaunt, he and his 18-piece band are bringing yuletide music old and new (he recently released the album “Rockin’ Rudolph”) — along with top hits from throughout his career — to 31 towns.

Most everyone knows that Mariah Carey loves Christmas and, this month, she’s returning to New York City’s Beacon Theatre for her second limited run of holiday-themed concerts. During the eight special performances, Carey will sing holiday gems from her albums “Merry Christmas” and “Merry Christmas II You,” including “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which is one of the bestselling songs of all time (more than 14 million copies have been sold!). Soul singer India.Arie will launch a seven-city mini tour Dec. 13 in support of her brand new album, “Christmas with Friends.” Expect to hear the four-time Grammy winner’s take on standard holiday songs like “Silent Night,” “The Christmas Song” and “Mary, Did You Know?” along with her original tune “Favorite Time of Year.” Contemporary gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds will open most of the gigs for her.

Mannheim Steamroller: 2015 Christmas Tour
Mannheim Steamroller is currently out on its 31st U.S. tour, which will hit 80 cities by the end of the year, a feat accomplishable by having two different touring companies. The classical/rock hybrids of Christmas standards, performed by Chip Davis’ orchestras, have long been enjoyed throughout the holidays. In case you can’t get to see the group in person (or just want more music to cherish), be sure to pick up “Mannheim Steamroller LIVE,” a brand new collection of the orchestra’s best music — available on CD, DVD or Blu-ray — recorded live in December 2014 at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Neb.

In celebration of her brand new holiday album “Today Is Christmas,” country singer LeAnn Rimes will kick off a special 11-date West Coast tour Dec. 4. At each stop, Rimes will honor American veterans with VIP tickets, a face-to-face onstage “thank you” and a special holiday gift as part of her collaboration with DAV (Disabled American Veterans), a nonprofit that provides resources to vets. Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve Tour
Multi-platinum, progressive rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra has brought its annual holiday tour back for another year. This year’s theatrics-laden show will be based on the group’s 1999 TV special/DVD “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” and will include crowd-pleasers like “Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24.” The tour will hit 60 cities — more than 100 shows — across North America (there are two troupes performing as TSO), with a portion of tickets sales benefitting select national and local charities.

Wizards Of Winter: An Evening With Wizards Of Winter
Holiday rock ensemble Wizards of Winter is back on the road bringing yuletide merriment to America. On the outfit’s 21-city tour, which kicked off in November, expect to see a two-and-a-half-hour family-friendly show. In addition to the group’s own songs (including cuts from new record “The Magic of Winter”), expect to hear a few Trans-Siberian Orchestra covers as Wizards of Winter features some original TSO members.
