On the Season Six premiere of VH1's "Love and Hip Hop New York," hip hop artist Remy Ma made her reality TV debut, Yandy Smith-Harris returned to her work as a music manager and Tara Wallace fell back on old habits when she hooked up with her married ex-boyfriend, Peter Gunz.

The opening scene showed Remy Ma making her triumphant return to the stage at the Stage 48 venue in the Manhattan neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen, as previously reported by HNGN. Remy Ma joined the cast after being released from prison after serving a six-year sentence for assault. Her storyline was set up in various scenes during the episode, and she will be focused on reclaiming her musical career, her relationship with her husband Papoose, her friendship with Rah Ali, and planning for her upcoming wedding ceremony with Papoose.

Smith-Harris and her husband Mendeecees Harris wed in a live special aired on VH1 this past May, and they welcomed their second child together earlier this year. Harris is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty on drug trafficking charges in April, but Smith-Harris won't let her husband's legal issues get in the way of her goals, which include hunting for her dream home and returning to her work as a music manager. She finally realized the severity of Harris' legal situation when he told her that he could be facing up to 20 years in prison.

But Smith-Harris moved forward with her career, seeking out new talent which led her to Bianca Bonnie. The female rapper had one hit song in 2006 with "Chicken Noodle Soup" under her former moniker Young B, but she's hoping to rebrand herself with Smith-Harris' help.

Bonnie performed at a rap battle during Gwinin Fest, and she went up against female rap duo BBOD (Bad B---hes On Deck) and New Jersey native Mariahlynn. But the onstage beef between BBOD's Miss Moe Money and Bonnie turned into real beef offstage and security had to break them up. Smith-Harris said Bonnie's behavior made her rethink signing on as her manager.

Aspiring actress Wallace was pulled back into the drama-filled love triangle with her former boyfriend, rapper Peter Gunz. The couple shares two children and they co-parent as best they can. But Gunz still has feelings for his ex, even though he is currently married to R&B singer Amina Buddafly. Wallace moved into the same building as Gunz and Buddafly in order for Gunz to be closer to his kids. Gunz helped Wallace move in, but boundaries were crossed when he spent the night. The next morning, Gunz tried to convince Wallace to give him another chance.

"He helped me move, we had some champagne, and now we're here," Wallace said in her on-camera interview. "Why did I do this to myself?"
