Melissa McCarthy is not too happy with the cancellation of CBS sitcom "Mike & Molly." The "Spy" actress revealed that she was "shocked and heartbroken" when she heard that the show was coming to an end, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"I was shocked and heartbroken when ‪@CBS canceled #MikeAndMolly," McCarthy tweeted on Monday. "I would have shot this show for 50 more years. I'll miss my 2nd family."

The sixth and final season of the series will air on Jan. 6, announced Rondi Reed, who plays Peggy, the mother of Billy Gardell's character, Mike, on the sitcom. Reed made the announcement on Dec. 10 via social media, as HNGN previously reported. Gardell was the first to break the news on Twitter earlier this month and revealed that the sixth season will be a shorter season with only 13 episodes. "Mike and Molly returns Jan 6, it will be our last episodes. There are 13 of them. Thank you everyone who supported us," he wrote on Dec. 4.
