Disney Interactive and Marvel has released a trailer for "Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2," the sequel to the popular social interactive game released three years ago.

The new trailer and details reveal characters, plot points and more to really get fans excited, according to Comic Book Resources.

In the new trailer, "Death" is seen looming over the world. She asks a question- "Show me what you would do for love?"

A voice answers, "Everything."

The voice is assumed to be Thanos, the death-obsessed alien villain within the Marvel universe.

Within the story, pieces of the planet- including whole cities- are disappearing, according to GameZebo. The only clues left behind are collections "Iso-8."

There will also be a plethora of villains around to take advantage of the hysteria and chaos.

The game combines various elements like turn based three-on-three combat and social interactions with friends to help complete missions and strategy, according to Tech Times.

The game will get a revamped look and will be mobile only, unlike its predecessor, which had its roots in Facebook. It will also be entering a beta for certain areas, and those who preregister can unlock a Guardians of the Galaxy character.

The full roster of characters is slowly being revealed.
