Safyre Terry had a Christmas wish. The 8-year-old arson victim survivor had a new Christmas card tree holder and no Christmas cards to place on the tree. So Liz Dolder, Safyre's aunt, placed a request on social media with a P.O. Box address asking for cards from around the world per little Safyre's request, according to The New York Post.

And around the world they came. Buckets and boxes full from thousands of strangers wishing the bravest of little girls a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

"This year's been magical, amazing," Dolder said Wednesday. "I haven't found a word in my vocabulary to describe what has happened."

Through online networking, it wasn't long before Dolder and Safyre's message circled the globe. Kevin Clark, a member of the motorcycle group who did a benefit fundraiser and met Safyre in the fall, reposted the picture and message to his followers. It wasn't long before the post was shared tens of thousands of times, and the cards started coming in from all over the world.

"BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE She did. When she said she can't wait to fill up the card tree my response was I don't think it's gonna get filled up but I am sure we will get a few more cards," Dolder said Tuesday, according to the San Francisco Gate.

Dolder and her husband Mike are Safyre's new family, taking in their niece after an intentional fire was set at Safyre's home, killing her father, brother, sister and stepbrother and burning over 75 percent of her tiny body back in 2013, The Daily Star reported. It's been a tough road of surgeries and medical treatment for the little girl, but the survivor is just a sparkly little 8-year-old who believes in Santa and loves Christmas time.
