Nicki Minaj sparked engagement rumors on Wednesday night when she posted a photo of a huge diamond ring on that special finger.

"Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Love u @meekmill," she wrote, adding in one of her famous lyrics, "RANG finga whr da rock iizzzz." She then posted another photo of the gorgeous piece of jewelry from her boyfriend, and possible fiancé, Meek Mill, with another song reference writing, "This stone is flawless."

People immediately started to assume the couple had taken their relationship to the next level because, well, that's exactly what they made it seem like, but neither of them had come out and said that they were engaged, and this also wasn't the first time Minaj, 33, had done this.

In April, the "Anaconda" rapper posted a photo of a giant yellow heart-shaped diamond ring on her left ring finger with a slew of emojis that also fueled engagement rumors, but Mill, 28, denied the rumors the next month. "(Our relationship) is definitely real, but it ain't really time to get married yet," he said then, as HNGN previously reported. "We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."

Minaj decided to pose topless for Billboard and clear the rumors up herself this time. "He and I are not engaged this time," she told the magazine for its Year in Music 2015 issue. "But he said he would like to get me three rings before we get married."

The interview took place before the comments were posted to Billboard's website on Thursday, and before Minaj's birthday, which was on Dec. 8, so it seems as though the ring was just a casual birthday present.

"My birthday's coming up and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday," she said. "I don't know what's going to happen with he and I. I just know right now we are really, really enjoying each other's company. So, shout out to everybody in the world that's just trying to find love or be happy. Everybody should have someone to hold at night. It really, really changes your energy. I find that my energy is very different afterward - if I'm in the bed with him, just hugging him all day. It's just, like, something about love. You transfer it. It's infectious."
