During episode two, season three of FYI's reality TV social experiment "Married At First Sight," the three Atlanta-based couples wed in separate ceremonies just seconds after meeting each other for the first time. Sparks flew as one bride experienced an instant connection to her groom, while another bride struggled to find her new husband physically attractive, and another bride started to second-guess her decision to jump into an arranged marriage with a complete stranger.

Tres & Vanessa

Vanessa Nelson, 26, immediately felt an attraction to her 27-year-old husband Tres Russell, and the couple seemed equally committed to their arranged marriage from the start. The groom even stopped the ceremony before Nelson was able to say her vows to properly propose to her, getting down on one knee and placing a corsage around her wrist. After the couple was officially engaged, they each said "I do." They went on to take wedding photos and their families meshed together well, with each welcoming the other with open arms. At the wedding reception, family members from both sides tapped silverware against wine glasses, signaling for the couple to kiss- which they did, plenty of times.

Neil & Sam

Samantha Role, 30, had a bad case of pre-wedding jitters before she walked down the aisle to meet her new, 31-year-old husband Neil Bowlus. But she took it in stride and even did a little goofy dance as she made her way to meet her groom, which he copied, and they both had a cute moment of silliness together. But Role joked throughout the ceremony, even playfully answering, "Ummm, okay I do" when confirming her vows. Her father said that she shows her frustration by making light of situations. Even though Bowlus went along with Role's silly antics, there was a touching moment between the new couple when Role choked up about her deceased grandmother during her speech. Bowlus stood up and placed his arm gently on Role's lower back as she wiped away tears. But Role said that she was weirded out when Neil introduced her to his ex-girlfriend, who attended the wedding. She wondered if that awkwardness was the reason why her husband was single, and she started to freak out after the reception when she realized that she had just married a stranger.

Ashley & David

Ashley Doherty, 30, was also nervous before her wedding to 29-year-old David Norton. She was also not immediately physically attracted to her husband because she said she normally goes for men with dark hair and dark features, and Norton has auburn hair. Norton was immediately attracted to his bride, though, but the couple struggled to make conversation after their nuptials. Doherty was visibly uncomfortable during the wedding photo shoot and the reception. Doherty felt uncomfortable kissing Norton, but he earned points when their family members tapped silverware against glasses to get the newlyweds to kiss. Norton stood up, took Doherty's hand and kissed it. "Maybe I was wrong about David. He kissed my hand and that blew me away, he's just being super considerate and a gentleman," Doherty said in her on-camera interview. "He's not my type but I have no regrets about marrying a stranger. He seems super kind and a genuine person."
