Edwin Jarvis isn't too impressed with the palm trees and dry heat of Los Angeles and hopes the arrival of his partner-in-crime, Peggy Carter, can spice up his life again in the second season of "Marvel's Agent Carter."

Jarvis (James D'Arcy) has relocated to the West Coast with his boss, Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), who is building his new movie studio in Hollywood. The trusty butler has been left to complete boring tasks such as oil the floorboards, clean the pool and transport exotic livestock, while Stark scouts locations on his female location scout.

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell) assures her friend that can handle the "abundant and abundantly irresponsible" drivers, but he begs to act as her chauffer until Mr. Stark returns. Plus, he needs someone to commiserate over Californians' infatuation with avocados, the "unbearably hot" dry heat and the palm trees that provide no shade.

In season two, the action moves from New York to Los Angeles where Peggy and the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) will face new Atomic Age threats and Agent Carter will face her most dangerous assignment yet.

"Marvel's Agent Carter" will return on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
