J.K. Rowling has spoken. The "Harry Potter" author and queen of the social media smackdown wants people to know one thing: that even her most evil character, Lord Voldemort, is nowhere near as bad as GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.

On Tuesday morning, Rowling responded to a tweet from the BBC that compared Trump to Voldemort, the character who killed Harry Potter's parents and dozens more in the series. Trump recently called for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on," according to CNN.

"How horrible," Rowling tweeted. "Voldemort was nowhere near as bad."

Lord Voldemort is the main villain in Rowling's "Harry Potter" series. He was considered to be the most powerful dark wizard of all-time, and was on a mission to purify the wizarding race from "muggles," a term used to describe people with non-magical capabilities.

This was not the first time Rowling had spoken her mind on the social media site. The author previously defended professional tennis player Serena Williams against a fat shamming Twitter troll and called the person an "idiot." She also called out businessman and best-selling author Rupert Murdoch on Twitter, according to the Washington Post. Murdoch at the time has said that all "Moslems" should "be held responsible" for terror attacks.

"I was born Christian. If that makes Rupert Murdoch my responsibility, I'll auto-excommunicate," Rowling replied to an article about Murdoch by The Guardian
