Former Green Bay Packer's quarterback Brett Favre stopped by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday night and did something he hasn't done in years - throw a football.

Favre's skills were put to the test when Fallon challenged the NFL icon to a game of "Tonight Show Throwdown." The game was simple: Fallon stood on one side of the room and tossed glass plates up in the air while Favre tried to destroy them with the football.

After a few misses, Favre told Fallon he had not thrown a football since he officially retired from the NFL. Favre was a bit rusty at first, but managed to get a piece of the last two.

"Can we get an intern to throw the plates?" a terrified Fallon asked after being reminded that Favre has a powerful arm.

Fallon had previously played "Tonight Show Throwdown" with "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner and New Orleans Saint's quarterback, Drew Brees in 2012. In the shootout between Lautner and Brees, the professional won the match and hit two targets, just like Favre.
