Eleonora Verbitskaya, a Russian woman who works as a DJ at night, lost her day job for reportedly being "too sexy" after her bosses found an assortment of provocative pictures of her online. Verbitskaya, who goes by the stage name DJ Ellis Sexton, had worked as bureaucrat at the Administrative Infringments Enforcement Office in St. Petersburg, Russia.

She was allgedly en route to a promotion, reported the Daily Mail. However, instead of receiving promotion, she arrived to work one day to find a note informing her she was fired.

She went to her bosses to ask why she was fired, which was contrary to the earlier promises of professional advancement, and was told that they had seen pictures of her online taken to promote her DJ career and had already made their decision, according to The Mirror.

Verbitskaya has since "lawyered up" with her attorney, Maxim Youshin, arguing that his client was illegally dismissed on the grounds of being "too sexy," reported the Daily Star.

He explained that "according to the Russian law, she did not do anything wrong. It is rather a moral question right now," adding that Eleonora kept her day job and night job separate; she never dressed inappropriately for work and all the photo shoots were done on her spare time.
