Yolanda and David Foster, stars of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," have called it quits after four years of marriage, People reported. The couple announced their divorce in a joint statement after spending nine years together.

"Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple wrote in a joint statement obtained by E! News. "We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.

"We are grateful for the years we've spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best," the statement continued. "I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we've learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another."

Yolanda, the 51-year-old former model and her songwriter/producer husband tied the knot in a wedding ceremony in 2011, according to People. Yolanda has three children from a previous marriage (20-year-old Gigi Hadid, 19-year-old Bella Hadid and 16-year-old Anwar Hadid). David, the 66-year-old 16-time Grammy award winner, has five daughters from four previous marriages.

Yolanda and David's divorce had been in the works for sometime, a source close to the estranged couple told Us Weekly. The couple reportedly started to drift apart in 2012, after Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

"She just felt he wasn't there for her when she needed him most and he felt the same," the source told Us Weekly. "It's so sad, but the illness really did come between them."
